Salary: £20,000+ p.a

Our client, a beautiful country house hotel near Cobham, Surrey, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Conference and Banqueting Manager to join their team. Due to the location and the style of venue this property caters for a variety of different functions and events so previous experience within Conference and Banqueting is essential and preferably within a similar environment of a 4/5* hotel. Throughout the week corporate functions are the focus with weekends primarily for weddings so all-round conference and banqueting experience is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team in the day to day operations of the Conference and Banqueting team and you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the department, training and developing the team, ensuring that all activities are to the highest of standard and that guest satisfaction is met and exceeded. Other key activities will include but are not limited to: rotas, costs and sales targets and management of key administrative documents.

To be considered for this role you will be a confident leader with previous experience in working to the highest standard within a hotel environment. Previous experience of being a toast-master would be advantageous but not essential. The position of Conference and Banqueting Manager will be rota’d on a 40 hour week including evenings and weekends.

Immediate interviews are offered on location near Cobham, Surrey. Due to the location of the venue transportation is essential. For those candidates looking to relocate, live-in accommodation can be provided.
