Conference and Banqueting Assistant Manager
Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £20,000+ per annum
Our client, a reputable, branded hotel, situated in Bournemouth, is looking for a Conference and Banqueting Assistant Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who has experience in the Food and Beverage sector and/or Events Management, preferably within a hotel environment who is looking to take a step up into a junior managerial position.
Key requirements of this role include but are not limited to:
• Manages departmental inventories and assets including par levels and maintenance of equipment.
• Conduct monthly department meetings
• Maintains and enforces established sanitation levels.
• Ordering of supplies for the department
• Schedules banquet service staff to forecast and service standards, while maximising profits.
• Lead shifts and actively participates in the servicing of events.
This is a hands on role and the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the banqueting and conferences, from the administration duties required to the hiring of new team members.
