Care Home Manager
Southbourne

Our client is looking for an experienced Care Home Manager to manage their warm and friendly 19 bed Care Home based in Southbourne.

The ideal candidate will be a Care Home Manager currently and have obtained “Good” status on their latest CQC report. You will be able to demonstrate leadership and management qualities to maintain high standards of care. You will have worked with the elderley and have a compassionate nature with a good philosophy of care.

You will be required to obtain and maintain registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Inspectorate as the Home’s “Registered Manager” and to observe and perform the duties of Registered Manager.

Responsible for ensuring the day to day running of the Home, achieving standards of services within the framework of the Care Standards Act 2000 and the National Minimum Standards established under that Act and the Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations 2002.

This is a small friendly and family owned Care Home in Southbourne. The owner visits the home weekly but other than that you will be left to manage. You will not be required to do the financial side of the business as they take care of that leaving you to look after the staff and residents.
